AFE hosts one of the most recognized certifications in the facility industry, the Certified Professional Maintenance Manager, CPMM® credential and one of the longest living engineering certifications, the Certified Plant Engineer, CPE® credential.

CPS® Eligibility Requirements

Eligibility 1:
2 Years of Management or Supervisor Experience with a total of 5 Years of Professional Work Experience
+ High School Diploma

Eligibility 2:
5 Years of Professional Work Experience in the field overall
+ High School Diploma

Work and educational references will be required on the application to verify eligibility. These eligibility requirements are to help ensure the optimal success for our program participants.
